Refurbished Winget Syncro F13 Rod Breakdown Machine

Winget Syncro Division of Beaumont Machinery has completed a major refurbishment of a Winget F13 Rod Breakdown Machine. The machine, which was originally supplied in 1979, has recently been delivered to the customer and is about to go back into full production.

Winget's initial survey of the machine was carried out in the context of the original drawings and build information, which are held in-house.  This enabled accurate pricing and a detailed scope of supply to be given to the customer.

Access to detailed technical information enables high quality Winget specification components to be manufactured in advance of refurbishment. This keeps machine downtime to a minimum.

Major refurbishments complement the supply of spares and service for Winget Syncro, Babcock Wire Equipment and other makes of wire drawing machinery, annealers and take-up machines.

Beaumont Machinery Managing Director Chris Livesey commented: "The successful refurbishment of this 1979 era machine demonstrates the excellent design and robust nature of the original F13 model.  The customer can now expect many more years of trouble free production.  We are also able to upgrade control systems for many types of machinery, leading to increased operating efficiency for manufacturers."
